Conference Languages

While the main conference language will be English, papers can be presented in all major European and all Celtic languages.

However, out of courtesy to other conference delegates and since simultaneous translation of papers into English will not be possible, delegates who wish to present their papers in languages other than English are asked to submit an English abstract / summary of their paper with their paper submission. These abstracts / summaries will be included in the abstract book for other delegates’ convenience. Changes to English abstracts /summaries of papers for the abstract book can be submitted until no later than 30 April 2017 to the conference organisers.

We would also ask delegates who wish to present papers in languages other than English to consider providing their powerpoint presentations (or other visual media they wish to use) in English language for the benefit of conference delegates who may not understand the paper in the language it is presented. Should you wish to provide translations for your paper as a handout, please bring these along yourself in sufficient numbers or provide them no later than 30 April 2017 to the conference organisers.
