By Train or Bus
See the National Rail website & Traveline Cymru for public transport information. Bangor is around two hours from Manchester by train, and the journey from London Euston to Bangor takes around three hours.By Air
Bangor’s closest major airports are Manchester and Liverpool John Lennon; both have good road and rail links. The local Anglesey Airport provides daily flights to Cardiff.
By Sea
The port of Holyhead (about 30 minutes from Bangor by car or train) has ferry services to Ireland provided by Irish Ferries and Stena Line.
